Disney announced a Star Wars hotel experience at last D23 called the Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser. It’s not a traditional hotel like on most of the Disney World property, but a brand new experience. Your flight will take place over two days. You’ll step into the world onboard a Star Wars cruiser. The only windows in this hotel are the ones with video screens showing the expanse of space outside. On the second day, you will board a special bus (probably sporting the same technology as Universal’s Hogwarts Express) that will “fly” you to Batuu in Hollywood Studios. It’s the ultimate experience that many fans can’t wait to LARP.

They have just released photos of the room concerns and they look exactly how you would imagine if you’re a Star Wars fan.

These rooms feature bunk beds Frog Mom would approve for the frog spawn that survived a feeding fest of baby Yoda proportions (there will be versions without for youngling-free millennials) and are absolutely immersive to the experience. And luckily they’re a bit comfier than what the Millennium Falcon or the Razor Crest could offer.

Considering how well Galaxy’s Edge has turned out, I can only imagine the love and care this experience will receive. Whenever it opens, it’ll be a great reprieve from an all too real present by stepping into a long time ago in a Galaxy far far away.
