by Tuesday PopeChances are you’ve heard Kirby Morrow’s voice and never knew. His latest role, reprising Miroku for Yashahime as he was also Miroku in Inuyasha, just aired. He was also known for playing Goku in the Ocean’s dub of Dragon Ball Z.
Morrow lives in Canada where he studied theater at the Mount Royal University in Calgary. He worked in British Columbia doing voice acting and with some on screen roles such as Captain Dave Kleinman in Stargate Atlantas. Today it was announced he passed away on November 18th 2020 at the age of 47. Many anime fans and hero cartoon fans have been sharing their sorrows across the internet.
Other notable roles included Cyclops from Xmen Evolution, Teru Mikami in Death Note, Trowa Barton in Mobile Suit Gundam Wing, and Cole in Lego Ninjago. His voice and acting will be missed. We wish the best for his family during this rough time.
