What a rough year to be a hero!
2019 marks “The Year Of The Villan”, with one of the creepiest villains terrorizing the DC universe being the freakish Batman/Joker hybrid from the Dark Multiverse. Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo have been on a roll with “The Batman Who Laughs”, so much so that the run has been extended to a seventh issue! Not only will we get a great segue into the new Batman/Superman run, but we’ll also be receiving a rather creeper cover as well, provided by Jock! “The Batman Who Laughs” #7 will be hitting stands on July 31st!

Speaking of the new Batman/Superman run, it will be starting on August 28th and continue building upon the foundations established in “The Batman Who Laughs”. The first arc will continue the story of “The Batman Who Laughs” which sees “The World’s Finest” hunting down the remaining infected heroes within the DC Universe. Below is the solicitation for the August 28th release, along with a look at the first issue’s A and B covers. For those who haven’t been following the story, we’ve also included the preview that leads into Batman/Superman #1, which will hopefully leave you as excited as it’s left us!
Up in the sky, in the dark of the night, trust no one—for the Secret Six walk among us! Spinning out of the devastating events of DC’s THE BATMAN WHO LAUGHS, Superman and Batman join together once more in an all-new monthly comic book—and they’re facing a terrifying new threat that could strike from anywhere. Writer Joshua Williamson (THE FLASH, JUSTICE LEAGUE/SUICIDE SQUAD) and artist David Marquez (Civil War II, Avengers) are teaming-up in BATMAN/SUPERMAN, debuting on August 28, 2019.
But who are the Infected? Fans have already been shown a sneak preview of BATMAN/SUPERMAN #1, revealing that The Batman Who Laughs’ plot is bigger than either the Caped Crusader or the Man of Steel realized and showing the devious killer’s first sentinel: a jacked-up, Dark Multiverse-infected Shazam! Who else has been targeted for similar transformations?
