Birds of Prey is an exciting music video of a movie which stars Margot Robbie as the magnetic Harley Quinn. Margot brings her natural charm and abundant energy in her second home around at the character. This time relying more heavily into action than laughs, the pic largely delivers but in an exquisite harmony like Deadpool has in the past. Harley may be known for her unpredictability but Birds dancing right up to the line when it comes to action movie rules.
In Birds of Prey, Harley has broken up with Mr. J and is now left to her own devices. At first, she’s in mourning, purposeless. But the journey of the movie is her finding her way to self-actualization—which ironically DCEU kinda doing now. It’s a fun, not without its flaws and missteps, but wonderfully alive with all the looseness of new possibility.
A must see this weekend regardless if you are a casual fan or die hard. But leave the Kiddos at home as this movie is rated R. No nudity but an abundance of violence and cursing.
